Join us on the August Long Weekend
for this annual Pottery Sale in Sorrento, BC, on Shuswap Lake
It features some of BC's finest pottery ranging from high fired functional pottery to raku, sculpture, porcelain and crystalline glazed pieces.
There are a number of functional potters working in stoneware, so there's lots to choose from.
Each year invited artists bring work from other creative genres. This year there will be iron work, weaving, fused glass, silver jewelry, and handmade paper. All the work is hand crafted, making it an original and unique event.
Sorrento Memorial Hall is close to downtown. The hall is air conditioned, and always refreshing on a hot summer day. This is the same building that hosts the annual Shuswap Lake Festival of the Arts. Admission is free.
DIRECTIONS - Memorial Hall, 1148 Passchendale, Sorrento, BC

Sorrento is located on the Trans-Canada Highway, 20 minutes west of Salmon Arm, and 50 minutes east of Kamloops. When you get close there will be plenty of signs along the highway advertising the pottery sale. A local landmark is a picturesque little church on the south side of the highway. The hall is on the north side.
Traveling West - Go through town and turn right about 100 yards after the blinking amber.
Traveling East - You'll see a highway sign marking Sorrento, 2 km. When you enter the 70/kmh speed zone, the hall is on your left.
